A urine test helps detect a urinary infection, follow kidney function or round out a health assessment. When one is ordered, you normally have to bring the sample to the laboratory yourself within a set time. This service takes care of that for you, discreetly.

Your nurse gives you a sterile container and explains how to collect the sample so that it is valid. She labels it, keeps it in the required conditions and delivers it to the laboratory with your prescription. Results are then sent through the channel set out by your prescriber.
